The Red Auerbach statue in Fanueil Hall is ready for the Bruins-Rangers playoff series, which gets underway Thursday night in Boston, sporting a Bruins jersey, hat and foam claw.

While Auerbach never really had time for hockey during his 30 years with the Boston Celtics, it's good to see him crossing over for what should be an exciting playoff series.

And if the Bruins give him a reason to light up another victory cigar, Red probably won't mind the hockey sweater at all.
