Felger & Mazz: May 15, 2013
Felger and Massarotti opened the day previewing the Boston Bruins upcoming series against the New York Rangers. The series begins tomorrow night in Boston. Between Tortorella and Claude Julien, which coach has the edge in the series? The Bruins are dealing with some injuries to their defense. Will changes to the defensive pairings be a factor for the B’s?
In Hour 2, Felger and Mazz changed gears and talked some Boston Red Sox. The Sox have won only 2 of their last 11 games. How can the Sox fix their struggling offense? Last night, Mike Napoli miss-played a pop-up due to the catwalks in Tropicana Field. Does Major League Baseball have to step in and make adjustments to the ground rules at Tropicana Field. How can the Tampa Bay Rays make themselves a relevant organization?
During Hour 3 of Felger and Massarotti, the guys break down New York Rangers goaltender Henrik Lundkvist’s numbers against the Bruins. In seven playoff games, Tyler Seguin only has one-point. Can Seguin turn things on in the second-round? Is Claude Julien’s job still on the line in this upcoming series?
In the fourth and final hour, Felger and Mazz discuss the comments made by Milan Lucic about the changes to the team, if the B’s had lost to the Maple Leafs. Felger and Mazz wrapped the final hour by taking some calls on the Bruins. Finally, it’s the Final Word with Marc Bertrand.
