Man Accused Of Breaking Into Concord, NH Home Held On $100K Bail

CONCORD, NH (CBS) - A man with a lengthy record was back in court and he is now charged with sexual assault and burglary.

David Mandigo, 42, is accused of breaking into a home and touching an 11-year-old girl while she slept.

A judge ordered Mandigo held on $100,000 bail.

According to court documents obtained by WBZ-TV, a mother awoke early Friday morning to find a man in her daughter's bedroom. He was "kneeling at her daughter's bed" and "had both of his arms fully extended under the sheets to her daughter's buttocks".

The woman spoke to WBZ-TV on Friday about the encounter.

Court documents show that based on the woman's description, Concord Police were led to Mandigo, who has several prior arrests for Prowling, Criminal Trespass, Indecent Exposure, Stalking, and Violation of Privacy, according to prosecutors.

Mandigo denied the accusations when questioned by police, but investigators found his fingerprints at the scene of the crime. Clothes found inside his home also matched the description of the intruder.
