In nearby Stoughton, a burst of wind was so strong that RVs at a car dealership were thrown from the parking lot. Employees at Baystate Ford say the large campers were picked up five feet off the ground.

In Easton and as far away as North Smithfield, Rhode Island, people reported seeing a funnel cloud in the sky. WBZ-TV meteorologist Todd Gutner says it is possible that a weak and brief tornado touched down.

A team from the National Weather Service will be in the Stoughton area on Friday to investigate the damage.
