Police Looking For Owner Of Cash-Filled Envelope Found On MBTA Bus

BOSTON (CBS) –The MBTA is hoping to find a rider that left an envelope full of cash on a bus late Monday.

The envelope was found on a Route 73 bus traveling from Harvard Square to Belmont around 4:45 p.m.

At Cushing Square, a woman found the envelope and handed it to the bus driver, Kevin White.

White, who has been with the MBTA for two years, turned the money over to his supervisor.

It’s now in the hands of the MBTA Transit Police.
