Dropkick Murphys Play Benefit Show For Bombing Victims
BOSTON (CBS) - Boston band Dropkick Murphys played a sold-out show Sunday to benefit Boston Marathon bombings victims and their families.
The matinée show was at the House of Blues.
The showincluded State Radio, Big D and The Kids, The Parkington Sisters, Old Brigade and Barroom Heroes.
Before the concert, the band had already raised over $150,000 through sales of a "For Boston" t-shirt with all proceeds benefiting the victims and families affected by the Boston marathon bombings and subsequent events.
All proceeds from the show will be disbursed directly to those affected by the tragedy through its charity, The Claddagh Fund.
