Authorities Move Boat That Boston Marathon Bombing Suspect Hid In

WATERTOWN (CBS) - The boat where marathon bombing suspect Dzhokhar Tsarnaev was holed up has now been removed from a backyard in Watertown.

Authorities covered up the boat and moved it Friday evening.

Investigators have been collecting evidence on it for the past week.

Tsarnaev hid on the boat after nearly a day on the run and was eventually arrested last Friday, after an order for Watertown residents to stay in their homes was lifted. A homeowner found blood on his boat and then spotted Tsarnaev inside.

The 19-year-old has been discharged from Beth Israel Hospital and taken to a medical facility at Fort Devens. His older brother, Tamerlan, died after a standoff with police.
