The Bruins have three more games left in the regular season before the playoffs start. The B’s haven’t been great in this race for the finish as they have dropped five of the last six. What’s going on with this team?
Mike Milbury joined Felger & Massarotti to discuss what he thinks the issues are plaguing this Bruins team.
What’s wrong with the B’s and what players need to step up their play? Can a team “flip the switch” as they enter the playoffs?
“I believe that events can conspire to get a team going; to fire a team up. I wouldn’t want to bet on it, I wouldn’t want to count on it, but I have seen teams (do it). Last year, Los Angeles had a good run at the end of the regular season. They had added a few new pieces to the puzzle and took off from there. But I felt better about teams I was associated with when we had some level of regular season success, played the right way, and went into the playoffs feeling good about ourselves. I don’t know how this group can feel good about themselves with a lack of cohesiveness and lack of success.”
What do you think? Can the Bruins get it together in time to have success in the playoffs?
