Lelisa Desisa Of Ethiopia Wins Boston Marathon Men’s Race

BOSTON (CBS) – The Boston Marathon men’s division came down to the wire with 20-year-old Lelisa Desisa of Ethiopia pulling away on Boylston Street for his first victory here.

He finished in 2:10:22.

It was only Desisa’s second marathon.

Micah Kogo of Kenya was second with a time of 2:10:27.

Gebregziabher Gebremariam of Ethopia finished third in 2:10:28.

Jason Hartmann of Rockford, Michigan came in fourth.  He was the first American to cross the finish line in 2:12:11.

Defending champion Wesley Korir of Kenya finished fifth.
