As of Thursday afternoon, the team had gone above their goal of $35,000.

"The project is to put together a DVD that explains to coaches of young girls how to coach girls maybe a little differently than we do boys to make the game more enjoyable," Coach Lisa Cole said.

Cole says while some things are the same, girls typically don't respond to yelling and screaming and are eager to please.

Breakers star Heather O'Reilly, a member of the U.S. National Team says there is a need for a video on how to coach girls soccer.

"Girls are built a little bit differently in terms of taking care of health things like your knees and obviously we've heard a lot about concussions in recent years. Those are two ways coaches can differentiate how they coach girls and boys."
