Report: Edelman To Sign One-Year Deal With Patriots
BOSTON (CBS) - Wide receiver Julian Edelman will sign a one-year deal with the New England Patriots on Wednesday, according to a report.
USA Today's Mike Garafolo originally reported the news over Twitter, and NFL Network's Ian Rappoport later added it would be an incentive-laced deal.

Edelman, originally drafted by the Patriots in the seventh round of the 2009 NFL draft, has four career touchdowns in 48 games for New England. He played in nine games in 2012, slowed by an early season hand injury, but caught 21 passes and a career-high three touchdowns.

The Patriots also signed receiver Emmanuel Sanders to an offer sheet on Wednesday as they attempt to revamp their receiving corps. While the Patriots lost Wes Welker to the Denver Broncos and released Brandon Lloyd, they signed Danny Amendola, Donald Jones, Michael Jenkins this off-season to catch passes from quarterback Tom Brady.
