Today’s high temps was 5 degrees warmer than yesterday, so we are now heading in the right direction. After another very cold night…the coldest of the stretch, temps will warm into the lower and middle 50s under bright sunshine. The wind will also be much lighter until the afternoon when SW winds get busy again and get a little gusty as the warmer air works in.
The weekend looks fabulous with lots of sunshine and temps In the lower 50s on Saturday and upper 50s on Sunday. With less of a wind gradient there is a good chance that we see seabreezes develop on the coast leading to cooler temps along the coastal plain. A warmfront will slip north of us late in the day on Sunday, this will send a few clouds our way in the afternoon but it will also send an even warmer surge of air into New England for early next week.
