It's Official: Bruins Acquire Jagr For Prospects And Pick

BOSTON (CBS) - Rest assure Bruins fans, this one is for real.

The Boston Bruins have acquired forward Jaromir Jagr from the Dallas Stars for Lane MacDemid, Cody Payne and a conditional second round draft pick, the Stars announced Tuesday afternoon.

The Bruins announce the deal shortly after, noting Jagr will wear #68 and is scheduled to join the team on Wednesday.

The 41-year-old Jagr scored 14 goals to go with 12 assists in 34 games for Dallas this season. Though those numbers aren't eye-popping, on the Bruins he would be tied for the team lead in goals and fourth in points.
