Globetrotters Visit Boston; Rookie Is 9th Woman In Team History

BOSTON (CBS) – The word famous Harlem Globetrotters are visiting Boston for the week.

For the first time in 20 years the team isn't made up of just men.

"TNT" Maddox is the ninth woman teammate since the Globetrotters' inception 86 years ago.

On Tuesday, she was one of two teammates who dribbled and dazzled their way from the Bunker Hill Monument, across the Charlestown Bridge to a playground in Boston.

While in town, the Globetrotters are scheduled to play two games at the Garden and to visit local schools.
