NH Teen Convicted In Deadly OUI Crash Could Face 15 Years In Prison

BRENTWOOD, N.H. (AP) — A New Hampshire teen could get up to 15 years in prison for the fatal 2010 drunk-driving crash that killed his best friend and classmate.

A jury convicted 19-year-old Cameron Dearborn of negligent homicide and other charges in the crash that killed 17-year-old Korey Traficante. Sentencing is scheduled for May 28.

Dearborn's attorney told the court Traficante was actually the one behind the wheel when the car they were in crashed into a stone wall and tree in Derry in November 2010. But the Eagle-Tribune of North Andover, Mass. reports witnesses who arrived immediately after the crash saw Dearborn in the front seat.

Dearborn and Traficante were classmates at Pinkerton Academy.
