Cherington: "Good Chance" Jackie Bradley Jr. Makes Opening Day Roster
BOSTON (CBS) - Red Sox General Manager Ben Cherington joined Tony Massarotti on The Baseball Reporters to discuss what the club's Opening Day roster will look like.
One of the biggest debates of Spring Training has been whether or not outfielder Jackie Bradley Jr. would make the big league roster.
"I think things are looking good for Jackie," Cherington said. "We expect him to come north, barring anything unforeseen, I think there's a good chance he will be in New York with us."
The Red Sox open up the season against the Yankees on Monday.
"He's had a great spring, and he certainly looks like a really good big league player and one that could help us right now," said Cherington.
The Red Sox have to submit their Opening Day roster by Sunday.
