Late last night TSN’s Aaron Ward reported via Twitter that Jarome Iginla had been traded to the Boston Bruins, but that turned out not to be the case. Roughly 90 minutes later the Flames announced that Iginla had instead been traded to the Pittsburgh Penguins.

Gresh and Zo started off Thursday’s show passionately analyzing Iginla’s move to go to Pittsburgh. Was it really a case of the player deciding where he wanted to end up or did Calgary like Pittsburgh’s offer more than Boston’s?

Was this decision more about Pittsburgh’s recent hot streak, or is it a direct shot at Boston and the fan base?

What do you think and what do you want move do you want the Bruins to make now?

Gresh and Zo were joined by Calgary Sun columnist Eric Francis to further deliberate the Iginla trade to the Penguins.

Francis talked about the possible reasons Jarome picked Pittsburgh over Boston and also, he believes Iginla is more of a complementary player now and the Bruins will make a counter move.
