Boston Marathon Runner Raises More Than $7K For Dana-Farber
BOSTON (CBS) - As many Boston Marathon runners train for Boston, a big part is raising money for charity.
People gathered at the St. James Armenian Church in Watertown Saturday night to raise money for kids like Gabriel Aljalian.
The 4-year-old was diagnosed with Leukemia in November.
Gabriel is Sarkis Chekijian's patient running partner.
So far, Chekijian has raised over $7,000, all of which will benefit the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.
