Body Found Outside South End Brownstone

BOSTON (CBS) - Police are trying to determine what happened to a man who was found dead early Sunday morning outside a brownstone on West Canton Street in the South End.

A resident of that brownstone reportedly called police around 6:30 a.m. after finding the man's body outside his home when he went to get the newspaper.

Police say the man was wearing a brown sweater, blue jeans, brown coat, brown boat shoes and red hat and was lying face down on the stairs. The man had no visible injuries, according to police.

The man's name, age and cause of death were not immediately known, police said.
