Three Women Charged In Bar Brawl In Pittsfield

PITTSFIELD, Mass. (AP) — Three Pittsfield women are scheduled to appear in court for a dangerousness hearing related to a brawl outside a city bar that left two other women with severe injuries.

Alicya Hubbard and Brittany Gresser, both 22, and 34-year-old Shanay Jones, are scheduled to appear in court Monday to determine whether they should be held for up to 90 days.

They are all facing attempted murder and other charges in connection with a March 16 fight in a bar parking lot that left one 24-year-old victim with a deep gash on her cheek and a 21-year-old victim with a dislocated shoulder. Both required hospitalization.

The Berkshire Eagle reports that the defendants have pleaded not guilty.

Police say an earlier disagreement inside the bar sparked the fight.
