David Krejci A Game-Time Decision For Bruins Thursday Night

BOSTON (CBS) -- What looked to be a really bad injury on Sunday could only end up costing David Krejci one game.

The Bruins' center skated Thursday morning with the team, and coach Claude Julien said Krejci will be a game-time decision Thursday night in Ottawa.

"We'll see how he feels after warmups," Julien said of Krejci. "If he feels good, then he's gonna go."

Krejci suffered his injury Sunday afternoon when Johnny Boychuk's slap shot hit him in the knee in Pittsburgh. He did not play Tuesday night in Winnipeg, but he said he's feeling better each day.

"The first two days felt awful," Krejci said after the morning skate. "Then yesterday I woke up and it was so much better. Today was better again. So, it's a game-time decision, we'll see."

Ryan Spooner filled in for Krejci on Tuesday, registering two shots on net in 15:29 of ice time in his second career NHL game.
