BOSTON (CBS) – Police have arrested two Rhode Island men who allegedly used counterfeit money at a Boston bar. They are looking for a third man who fled the scene.

On Monday night, investigators say 23-year-old Felix Perez and 29-year-old Dana Leyland were at the Charlesmark Hotel when they each paid for drinks with $100 bills, and got change.

Later on, the bartender noticed an image of Abraham Lincoln on the bills. Suspecting they were counterfeit, the bartender followed Perez and Leyland to the Hotel Lenox. A third suspect fled.

Officers recovered eight $100 bills after a witness told police he saw them drop the money on the floor.

Perez and Leyland were arrested and charged with Possession of Counterfeit Notes and Uttering or Publishing False Writings.
