FOXBORO (CBS) – The Patriots have reached a deal with cornerback Aqib Talib, according to a report by ESPN.com‘s Adam Schefter.
Acquired at the trade deadline for a fourth-round pick Talib had one interception in six regular season games for New England, and drastically changed what had been a dismal pass defense.
But he suffered an injury that knocked him out of the AFC Championship game, and there are questions surrounding his commitment and work ethic.
The terms of the deal were not immediately available.
