BOSTON (CBS) – A nun was robbed at a Roxbury church shortly after noontime on Friday.
Staff at The Basilica of Our Lady told police that the 85-year-old nun reported being robbed of her cash while standing at the window of the rectory as she was paying for a dinner.
The suspect allegedly took the money as she put it down on the counter and fled down St. Alphonsus Street. He is described as Hispanic, in his late 30’s, 5’5″ to 5′7″, slim build, dark hair with a receding hair line and wearing black leather jacket.
Police searched the area but no arrests have been made.
