Menino Will Not Endorse Lynch Or Markey In Senate Primary

BOSTON (CBS) - Mayor Tom Menino won't be endorsing either Democratic candidate in the U.S. Senate primary race.

Menino won't choose between Congressmen Stephen Lynch and Ed Markey, despite the fact Lynch is from South Boston.

WBZ NewsRadio 1030's Carl Stevens reports

"I will not be endorsing anyone in this campaign at this time or in the future," Menino told WBZ NewsRadio 1030's Carl Stevens. "Both are friends, both are good candidates."

Menino told WBZ NewsRadio 1030 that both have a good feel for the issues that are important to the Commonwealth.
