The Bryant Bulldogs finished their 2011-12 season with just two wins, but a season later the team could was only a couple of wins away from a play-in game for the NCAA tournament!
Jon Wallach calls the games for Bryant, and if the team moved on he could have been calling an actual NCAA tournament game. Unfortunately the Bulldogs fell to Mount St. Mary’s on Wednesday night and Wallach’s dreams died along with the loss.
Toucher & Rich think that Wallach has the skills to secure a play-by-play job for a better team, but realize that there is a lot of great competition in the play-by-play world.
The guys took a listen to one play-by-play guy who has some great skills and is currently calling games for UC Santa Cruz Banana Slugs lacrosse. This guy can really paint a picture of what’s going on in the game!
