Felger & Mazz: March 5, 2013
Felger and Massarotti were joined by Jermaine Wiggins to discuss the New England Patriots and the future of Wes Welker. Does Welker have an issue with the Patriots organization? The guys also talked some Boston Bruins and the next chapter in their rivalry with the Montreal Canadiens. Could the Bruins actually be jealous of the Canadiens?
In Hour 2 of Felger and Mazz, the guys and Jermaine Wiggins continued the discussion about the Patriots and NFL free agency. When was the last time the Pats brought in an elite free agent? Also, we hear this week’s edition of 10 Questions with Wiggy. The guys continued to talk about the Pats and past spending. Finally, the fans ask Wiggy some more questions.
Marc “The Beetle” Bertrand kicked off the 3rd hour with a Hot Sports Take. When Boston Red Sox manager John Farrell was on with Gresh and Zo earlier, Bertrand was bothered by Farrell’s use of the word “relentless.” Is John Farrell projecting phoniness? Felger and Mazz were joined by Boston Bruins President Cam Neely to talk some B’s. The guys also talked about Boston Red Sox prospect Drake Britton’s arrest for DUI and driving 111 mph.
In the 4th and final hour of the Felger and Massarotti show, the guys tried to figure out the meaning of “somewhat mild disdain” was. Is Wes Welker willing to play somewhere else? Are the Los Angeles Angels screwing Mike Trout? Finally, it’s the Final Word with Marc Bertrand.
