FOXBORO (CBS) – Hopefuls from all over lined up inside the New England Patriots practice facility on Saturday to try out of the team’s cheerleading squad.
Those trying out get to perform two designated routines and a freestyle combination.
They’re judged on dance ability, showmanship and level of physical fitness.
Judges will narrow the field to somewhere around 65 participants, who will be invited back for final auditions in two weeks.
Once the final cut is made, the 2013 Patriots Cheerleading Squad will consist of 24-30 members.
