BOSTON (CBS) – Boston is about to get a heavy dose of rock history.

From the purple shirt of Jimi Hendrix to one of Elton John’s sequined stage outfits, the Hard Rock Cafe in Boston is displaying some of their unique memorabilia.

The “Hard Rock Treasures” will be on display at the restaurant on Sunday, and will include the second gift ever donated to the company: Pete Townshend’s guitar.
