3 Children Hurt As School Bus, Cars Crash In Lexington

LEXINGTON (CBS) - A school bus and two cars were involved in a crash in Lexington Friday morning.

It happened just before 8:30 a.m. on Concord Avenue at Spring Street.

Police told WBZ NewsRadio 1030 the two cars collided and the bus was unable to avoid the accident and it crashed.

Three children on the bus were taken to a nearby hospital with minor injuries.

The driver of one of the cars was also hurt.

The students were heading to class at the Bridge Elementary School on Middleby Road.

It's not clear yet what caused the crash.

No other details are available at this point in the investigation.
