BOSTON (CBS) – Massachusetts education officials last week issued new guidelines dealing with the handling of transgender students. The guidelines give students the ability to pick the sex of the sports teams on which they play, as well as the bathrooms they can use. We have Andrew Beckwith of the Massachusetts Family Institute in studio to discuss what he believes to be the problem on this issue. Should this be allowed? Are there other options? Does this seem like the safer choice for children?
