BOXFORD (CBS) – Police are investigating whether slippery roads are to blame for a car accident on Lawrence Road Monday morning.

The vehicle slammed into an utility pole around 10 a.m.

The Lawrence Eagle Tribune is reporting the driver was killed.

Police shut down the road as the body was removed from the wreckage.

The victim’s name has not been released.
