BOSTON (CBS) – An MBTA trolley crashed into a car that turned onto the tracks in Allston Monday night.

It happened on Commonwealth Ave. near Boston University.

The driver of the Green Line trolley was taken to the hospital as a precaution and another passenger was treated on scene.

The man who was driving the car was taken into custody and cited.

It is not clear why the car was on the tracks.

Service on the B-Line was suspended briefly while the scene was cleared.
