Felger and Marc Bertrand were joined by Mike Milbury on Thursday, and discussed the NHL Trade Deadline, the Bruins goalie rotation, and low scoring in the NHL.
Do the Bruins have to make a move by the deadline? Milbury doesn’t think they should do anything major that would disrupt the core they currently have.
“They won with this cast of characters not so long ago, and I think they’re capable of doing it again,” he said. “If they have the opportunity to beef up their scoring, I would say absolutely, but I wouldn’t be selling the farm to get it done.”
What is Chris Bourque’s ceiling as a player?
“He’s not very big and he’s not overly quick, but he’s got to find a home for himself. I’m not sure where that is on this team,” said Milbury. “He can turn himself into a utility-type player, which is what it looks like it’s going to be, but I don’t have him as a top six forward on this team.”
Is Claude Julien handling the goaltender rotation properly?
Did Lindy Ruff deserve to be fired from Buffalo? And why is the goal scoring so low this season?
