BOSTON (CBS) – The Boston Celtics have received Terrence Williams’ letter of clearance, and the guard will be eligible to play Wednesday night when the C’s visit the Los Angeles Lakers.

The Celtics reportedly reached a deal with the former 11th-overall pick to a 10-day contract on Monday, but needed to receive the clearance letter from his former team in China in order for guard to officially join the team.

Just a couple of years ago the guy was a budging video game beast. Yeah, he has no jump shot (for the most part) but the guy is fast and can rebound very well for his position. His situation is very telling of how a person’s nature affects life. I’m curious to see how he will fit. I’ll be watching, to say the least.
