BOSTON (CBS) – A Boston firefighter is under investigation for allegedly making threats against the department.

Police tell WBZ-TV that Kenneth Veiga was unhappy that he had to return to work. It is unclear why the 24-year veteran was off the job in the first place.

A police report was filed by Boston Police on Tuesday but no charges have been filed.

Veiga is now on administrative leave with pay while the incident is investigated.
