Winter Storm Warning In Effect For Most Of Mass. Until Sunday Evening

BOSTON (CBS) – It was windy and wild on the Cape and Islands early Sunday morning.

A storm system off the cost, caused high winds and moderate snowfall for Southern New England.

The  worst of the storm is expected through Sunday morning but snow will be lingering much of Sunday.

The upper Cape will receive the most snow with over 6 inches expected. The North Shore and coastal areas of Mass. are likely to receive 4 to 6 inches.

A high wind warning is in effect on the Cape until Sunday evening.

Cape Air canceled all flights on Sunday.
