SALEM (CBS) – The Northshoremen Barbershop Quartet made a stop at the Salem State University Enterprise Center Thursday to deliver a Valentine’s Day song.
The recipient of the musical love was Jana Digianvittorio. Her husband, the Middleton Police Chief, sent the singing Valentine to her office.
WBZ NewsRadio 1030′s Carl Stevens reports
Quartet member Jack Dowd says that was just one of the many stops planned for the day.
“Unbelievable, he shocked me,” Digianvittorio said.
For $50, the Beverly-based quartet will serenade your Valentine, give them a rose and a card and take a photo with them.
The proceeds help defray the cost of other shows and charitable performances the quartet does throughout the year.
