FORT MYERS, FLA. (CBS) – A very quiet Sunday here in Fort Myers as all pitchers and catchers had to do was let the Red Sox know they are in Fort Myers.
Mike Napoli reported to the clubhouse and spoke briefly with reporters. He said his hip feels fine and he is ready to go. Napoli briefly played catch with John Lackey.
David Ross checked in as well with his family. He seemed happy to be here.
Physicals are Monday while the first pitchers and catchers workout is slated for Tuesday under new manager John Farrell.
Did an interview with both Ben Cherington and John Farrell together here at JetBlue Park. They seem to be on the same page unlike last year when Ben had a nightmare with Bobby Valentine.
You can see that interview, plus our sitdown with Larry Lucchino and more from here in Fort Myers all on Sports Final Sunday after the Grammys and our local news on WBZ-TV Channel 4.
