Trucks are loaded for their trip to Ft. Myers, Fla. (Credit: WBZ-TV’s David Wade)
Tuesday was the day the Red Sox organization packs up a truck with equipment bound for Spring Training in Fort Myers, better know as “Truck Day”. Diehard Red Sox fans head down to the ballpark to watch the truck getting loaded up every February, and then begin it’s trek down south.
Rich and Adolfo went down to Fenway to have a little fun. Adolfo brought the Giant Wallach Head down and was able to get on many of the local news broadcasts. Rich pretended to be very excited to be at “Truck Day,” and even led the crowd in “Truck Day” chants and verses of “Sweet Caroline” during the event.
His enthusiasm did not go unnoticed, Steve Buckley of the Boston Herald was there shooting video and ended up interviewing Rich. Click here to watch the video.
Unfortunately one event that wasn’t caught on video was Larry Lucchino putting his arm around Rich in an effort to get seen with a fan that’s really excited about “Truck Day”.
