The Bruins are in Montreal getting ready to take on the Canadiens tonight at the Bell Centre.
Comcast SportNet’s Joe Haggerty is up Montreal and joined 98.5 The Sports Hub’s Toucher & Rich to chat about Wednesday night’s game against the Habs, bad calls in the Bruins 1-0 win over the Maple Leafs, and new public enemy #1 — John Scott.
It was thought that the Candiens weren’t going to be any good after finishing last in their division and conference with a 31–35–16 record in 2012. But Montreal has started strong with a 6-2-0 record. What’s going on up there?
“It’s a different team than last year,” said Haggs. “This is not the same team that traded Mike Cammalleri in the middle of a game against the Bruins at the Garden because things were falling apart so badly. They cleaned house, they got rid of the coaching staff, they got rid of the GM and they’re back to being a pretty decent Habs team.”
They also discussed Canadiens fans booing P.K. Subban when he returned after holding out for a long-term contract, and a few questionable calls in the Toronto game that negated a goal for each team.
Plus, more on the John Scott fight with Shawn Thornton, and if the Bruins should have stood up to the Sabres and Scott more last week.
