BOSTON (CBS) – At the WBZ Water Cooler, Rock and Roll Hall of Famer Jimmy Cliff found himself in the middle of a Super Bowl commercial controversy this week.

WBZ NewsRadio 1030’s Rod Fritz reports

Cliff is the voice to an advertisement, that can already be found on YouTube, that features a white office worker with a Jamaican accent.

The worker is cheerful and trying to lift the spirits of the office. The voice is that of Jimmy Cliff who tells us, the commercial will be the ‘Uplifter of the Super Bowl.’

Here’s the full interview with WBZ’S Drew Moholland

Poll:

You can hear the WBZ Water Cooler on Saturday at 10:25 AM and 5:55 PM, and Sunday at 5:55 PM, on WBZ NewsRadio 1030.
