Civil Rights Group Protests MBTA's Bag Search Policy
BOSTON (CBS) - A civil rights group held a protest on Saturday as part of their fight against the MBTA's bag search policy.
The group, called "Defend The 4th," marched from five T stops to meet on the Boston Common.
They call the random inspections warrantless and say they are violations of the 4th amendment's protection against illegal searches.
The inspections for explosives have been in place since 2006.
