LACONIA, N.H. (AP) — The New England Pond Hockey Classic is carrying on in New Hampshire, in spite of the recent warm weather.
One event was postponed from Thursday night, but organizers say the rest of the event is running as planned at Meredith Bay as of Friday.
Laconia hit a high of 59 degrees early Thursday morning. The temperature dropped during the day and the winds picked up.
Temperatures were expected to stay low Friday, with a high of 27 forecast for the area and winds between 11 and 16 mph.
