RAYNHAM (CBS) – Strong winds blew through southern New England early Thursday morning and tore off part of a school’s roof in Raynham.
The roof above the cafeteria at the Merrill School was partially torn off in the storm.
A large chunk of insulation was blown all the way across the street.
No one was hurt.
The school houses kindergarten and first grade classes.
Those students will have to eat lunch in their classrooms for now.
There’s no estimate yet on how much repairs will cost.
