A story in the Miami New Times revealed that baseball stars Alex Rodriguez, Gio Gonzalez, Nelson Cruz, Melky Cabrera and Bartolo Colon were clients of a Miami anti-aging clinic that distributed performance enhancing drugs like HGH and IGF-1, both of which are banned by MLB.
Gresh & Zo were joined by baseball insider Jon Heyman on Tuesday afternoon to discuss the new steroid allegations in baseball and what the impact could be. Could the Yankees look to use this to get out of their contact with A-Rod? Would they even bother trying?
Also, what are the Red Sox biggest issues heading into spring training and what should fans expect this season? Plus, Heyman’s thoughts on the new Terry Fancona book that hit shelves last week.
Gresh & Zo further discuss the PED story.
