TAUNTON (CBS) – Dozens of people were forced out of their homes by a fire in Taunton late Sunday night.

The fire broke out just after 9 p.m. at the 24-unit Chateau Estate Apartment complex on Hart Street.

It’s believed to have started in the attic and then spread quickly across the roof.

At least 50 people were home at the time of the fire.

Everyone escaped safely, but two firefighters were treated for minor injuries.
