SALEM (CBS) -  This week’s Pet Parade featured some dogs with amazing stories.

Rudy, a chihuahua mix comes to the shelter all the way from California. Coco is also a chihuahua mix and is 5-years-old.

Sylvania is a chihuahua-terrier mix from Puerto Rico. Sylvania was rescued from “Dead Dog Beach” where dogs are left to die.

Denver is a one-and-a-half-year-old lab mix who was hit by a car in Georgia. Denver’s pelvis and legs were broken but he is now back to health and looking for his forever home.
