BOSTON (CBS) – A Boston man is facing charges of indecent assault and battery after an alleged incident on at Haymarket MBTA Station.
Transit police say Friday around 1:15 p.m., a woman was standing in line to board a Route 111 bus when she was groped by 48-year-old John Salonen.
While officers were speaking with the victim, an MBTA employee pointed out Salonen as he was walking away from the station.
Police quickly caught up to him.
The victim confirmed his identity as the alleged groper.
Salonen was arrested and is due in court on Tuesday to face a charge of indecent assault & battery.
