Patriots Practice Report: Woodhead, Jones Limited
BOSTON (CBS) - Only two players were absent from the Patriots practice session on Wednesday as the team prepares for their AFC Championship showdown with the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday.
Tight end Rob Gronkowski, out the rest of the playoffs with a broken arm, and corner Alfonzo Dennard (not injury related) were the only two players not present as the Patriots practiced outdoors at Gillette Stadium.
Tale Of The Tape: Patriots vs. Ravens
Both Danny Woodhead (thumb) and Chandler Jones (ankle) were limited after suffering injuries in Sunday's 42-28 win over the Houston Texans, along with corner Marquise Cole (finger), offensive lineman Nick McDonald (shoulder) and defensive end Trevor Scott (knee).
Woodhead was seen with a splint on his thumb, which he injured on the Patriots first drive on Sunday, but should be good-to-go come game time on Sunday. Head coach Bill Belichick said on Monday that Woodhead could have returned to Sunday's game, but was held out.
